Lilian Lee is a UX Designer based in Singapore. Formerly an Art Director, she took a two-year sabbatical away from ad land, during which she worked on organic farms in Scandinavia, dabbled as a hostel maestro in The Netherlands, took up a course in User Experience Research in London, and hopped around the rest of the continent for tech hackathons.
She was also based in Shanghai for a period of time and relished every second of it, smoggy air and all.
After her stint at Google’s Social Lab, she is now fully focused on expanding her passion project - Say What? now a business to overseas and also freelancing around with the idea of ‘making things that matter’.
Her after-hours interests include: Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, anything by Stephen King, chilly 10-degree weather, and wishing winter is here (she’s secretly in love with The White Walkers). She perpetually thirsts for adventure and hungers for nasi lemak.
Other than Say What? and freelance, she is learning about urban farming and hopefully, she will not be labelled as Edward ‘Plant’ Killer Hand.
